Gantry Crane

A gantry crane is an overhead lifting system supported by freestanding legs that travel on wheels or track. Unlike bridge cranes, which rely on runway beams mounted to the building structure, a gantry crane supports itself entirely from the ground. Because no structural reinforcement is needed, gantry cranes are ideal for locations where building support is limited, temporary lifting is required, or outdoor use is necessary.
