Single girder overhead travelling crane is a light and small lifting equipment, mainly composed of electric hoist, metal structure, large vehicle operating mechanism, control device, and electrical device.

The main structure of an single girder overhead travelling crane includes a lifting mechanism, crane operating mechanism, metal structure, and electrical control equipment.

• Lifting mechanism: As a lifting mechanism, an electric hoist can lift heavy objects and move longitudinally along the main beam to transfer goods.
• Crane operating mechanism: It adopts a separate driving form, driven by a motor to drive the reducer and drive the wheel group to run. The wheel tread is suitable for running on the track.
• Metal structure: The main load-bearing components of the main beam and end beam comply with the provisions of JB/T1306-2008. The main beam is generally formed by rolling steel plates into U-shaped grooves, which are welded with I-beams to form a box shaped solid web beam. The end beam is welded from steel plates and bored after welding. The main beam and end beam are connected by bolts.
• Electrical control equipment: The electric motor adopts a conical squirrel cage brake motor. The electric hoist and the entire machine are equipped with safety devices, such as lifting height limit switches, large vehicle end limit switches, etc. The lifting mechanism is equipped with a lifting weight limiter as an overload protection mechanism. Large and small vehicles, as well as lifting motors, electrical control cabinets, and main power switches, all have waterproof functions and are suitable for outdoor operations
